1. About the service
Rookie Fleet Modmail (the “Service”) is administered by Rookie Fleet, a globally distributed volunteer moderation team with authorized staff in Europe, North America, and Oceania (“Rookie Fleet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Service's primary administrator and legal contact are based in Belgium. The Service allows eligible Discord users to contact Rookie Fleet staff privately for reports, appeals, questions, and general support.
By sending a direct message to the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Discord
You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement for your country and comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws. The Service is independent from Discord and is not endorsed by Discord Inc.
3. Acceptable use
You must use the Service honestly and for its intended purposes. You must not:
- spam, harass, threaten, or abuse staff or other users;
- submit unlawful content, malware, credential-stealing links, or intentionally harmful files;
- impersonate another person or knowingly provide materially false information;
- attempt to evade moderation actions, access staff-only systems, or interfere with the bot;
- submit another person’s sensitive personal data unless it is genuinely necessary for a report or appeal; or
- use the Service in a way that violates Discord’s rules or applicable law.
We may restrict or end access, close tickets, or report content when reasonably necessary to protect users, staff, the community, or the Service.
4. Tickets and moderation
Messages you send to the bot are relayed into a private staff ticket. Staff may discuss the matter internally, review evidence, categorize or escalate the ticket, and record an internal reason when closing it. Internal staff discussions and close reasons are not disclosed to the player through the Service.
We aim to handle tickets fairly, but we do not guarantee a response time, a particular outcome, reversal of a moderation action, or disclosure of action taken against another user. The Service is not an emergency or law-enforcement channel.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Rookie Fleet a limited permission to receive, copy, relay, store, review, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, investigate reports, decide appeals, maintain community safety, and comply with law. You are responsible for having the right to submit the content you provide.
6. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, safety, legal, or operational reasons. We may update these Terms and will publish the revised effective date on this page. Material changes apply prospectively where required by law.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Rookie Fleet is not responsible for outages or actions controlled by Discord or other third-party providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury where applicable.
8. Governing law
Where a governing-law choice is permitted, these Terms are governed by Belgian law because the Service's primary administrator is based in Belgium. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence. Any dispute should first be raised through the contact address below so the parties can attempt an informal resolution.
